Was chatting with Oval this evening asking about the earthquake that hit his hometown, Padang, Indonesia. I was shocked to hear that some of his friends back there did not make it through the earthquake. Some of them went missing. He told me they were studying together when the earthquake happened. I was totally stunned by what he told me. Imagine losing so many of your friends in a single day =\

I asked him why didn't he go back. He told me he will only burden his family because there's not have enough food there now. Thank god his family is ok, there's only a small crack in his house.

Handry's another friend of mine from Padang, Indonesia too suffered the lost of his uncle. His uncle died tragically with his intestines coming out of his body and he's only in his mid-40s. That's very sad. I totally went speechless! =\

According to the news, there's another earthquake coming soon. Handry's parents don't want to move to the safe zone and Oval told me there's been some discrimination. I hope everything will be fine. Thank god this semester's a short one so they can go home in November.

Jon and I actually skipped Java class for this! Big thanks to Twitter!!! We knew that they will be arriving in Malaysia today but didn't know what time. We knew that they will be arriving from Taipei but couldn't find the time of arrival online. =(

We reached KLIA at 11.30am only to find out that there's a plane coming from Taipei at 1pm. Oh yesh! Now there's hope! Had lunch at McDonald's. I couldn't have proper lunch because I was stoked! I even went to the toilet twice!! =DD

Waited there at 1pm. Saw a bunch of girls there too! We waited waited waited waited, very patiently till we saw Bryan, and then the rest of them =)))

They came out one by one. It actually took 1/2 hour for all 4 of them to come out! I guess they didn't want to catch attention. While waiting for Martin to come out, there this lady in shades who's sitting on the trolley, she looks really familiar. She was like "Boys Like Girls huh?" and all of us smiled =) And you know what? she was actually LENKA! omg. but we wasn't really sure that time. There goes the chance of grabbing a photo with Lenka. =(((

You couldn't believe how happy I was that day. =))) Ask Jon, I was practically smiling all the way back to Inti. These are not all of the photos. More to come! They are with Mei Yuan, a very sweet girl. =)) Can't wait to get them!!

Who says dreams don't come true? I've never thought I will be this close to a band. Tell me it was worth skipping class! Definitely one of the bestest days of my life!! =D *weeeeeeeee*

Arthur's Day

Arthur's Day was freaking the awesome!!! Words couldn't describe how great it was. It started off with me waking up early in the morning while Jon was still sound asleep. Suppose to get results but then I really can't wait for him so I went to the exam center myself. Then to UPO (University Placement Office) after that to add the grade report in to enhance my university application. All because I was not pleased with the offer letter =( Hopefully this time I receive good results from the University *fingers crossed*

Just when I came back from UPO, Jon finally woke up. And the moment I reached my room, I refreshed my Twitter page, just to find out that Black Eyed Peas' tweet says "BEP is now in Malaysia". I told Jon immediately and we both rushed to KLIA. Well, it ended with disappointment. lol!! All because we didn't know when exactly they arrived.

Alright so in the afternoon, I drove us up to Sunway Lagoon. YES I DROVE!! All the way from Inti to Subang. I feel so proud of myself! =))) Hang out at Sunway Pyramid till 7.30pm. The show starts at 8pm.

Let me tell you this, Arthur's Day was way more awesome than MTV World Stage. Maybe I should put it this way, MTV World Stage has awesome bands performing whilst Arthur's Day has awesome decorations. I mean the settings, stage. screens and all, not to mention beers were served too! BIG WOW!!

Arthur's Day started off pretty boring. 3 hours of performances by Reshmonu, MC Hotdog, MJ116, Danny One, Manhand, Joe Flizzow and DJ Haze. So many unknowns and I almost fell asleep. I could also see that everyone was restless. =p

The highlight of that night was definitely Black Eyed Peas!
They took 1/2 hour to start the show but it was worth the wait!!
After all we've already waited for 3 hours so that doesn't matter anymore =p
The Peas were truly deeply madly awesome!
The dancers, the props, everything!
Especially will.i.am's DJ set! =))
And and Fergie was really pretty!

Arthur's Day ended with a massive display of fireworks!
They come in different shapes and sizes.
I even saw heart-shape ones!! <3>

We have no regrets going for the show! =)))

RM103 totally worth it! =)

These freaking the awesome tickets cost RM103 each.
The moment I told my mum about it she was like
"wow! 2 pairs of shoes!"
I know I know, can't help it.

The worst thing about it is that we totally missed out the 10% off for the tickets.
The promotion ended on 11th September which is 2 days away. =((

Since Che Fuzlina (my Java lecturer) had a hard time choosing the class reps for our class, Chili created a program that randomly generates both class rep and assistant class rep. I can tell you that the program is awesome! All of us were very happy with the result. The whole class practically LOL-ed and clapped when they saw the result on the white screen. Not gonna say who they are here =ppp Hence, Che Fuzlina's problem in selecting class reps is solved.

See how fun is it to learn programming. =)))) Java class this semester is very fun!!!! I just hate it that almost all the classes are at 8am for 4 days a week. =S

I was watching Coraline when Lance came up telling me that there's a lizard downstairs. I screamed upon hearing that. eww. I just can't stand lizards. Anyway, this lizard, I kinda pity it, it's stuck on that sticky pad on my dining table. Oh well, that's the function of that sticky pad isn't it? But holy cow! This lizard is semi transparent. It looks like rubber lizard to me, more like those sold in toy stores.

It took me great courage to go near enough to take a picture of it. *shudders*

It's gonna die by tomorrow morning. Ahhhhh. But it has to die! Or else it will climb up to my bed while I sleep =p It happened before, I forgot when and where. On that night while I was toss and turning on my bed, I saw this lizard right beside my pillow! Ewwwwww. I don't remember what happened after that. Don't wanna think of it either =))

You know what happen if I see a lizard at home? I will shout for my mum. Then she will come running, chasing after the lizard till it died. haha. Sometimes, alright sometimes, as in really sometimes only, if the lizard isn't running away, she will pour boiling water on it! Yes I know what you guys are thinking but hey! That's the easiest and fastest way to kill the lizard =p

On an unrelated note, I'm currently addicted to Panic At The Disco's Pretty Odd. Got it yesterday and its been looping since then. That's like the greatest album ever! So many odd songs in it. Totally ODDSOME!!!

It's not like I couldn't make it, it's that I didn't know anything about it! Not a lil news of it, AT ALL!!! How could this even happen =((((

Alright the first meet and greet session was at Coco Banana on 11th August 2009. It's for winners for some competition in R.A.G.E. wtf! I have no idea about this at all! Ok, I don't even read R.A.G.E. ahhhhhhh!!! How come I don't read R.A.G.E?!?!?!

The second one was at Sony Style Outlet, The Curve on 12th August 2009. 12th August 2009!!! 12 August 2009 people!!! That's the day I went out for Epic Fat Poo Poo Giler Day and I was at The Curve but I know nothing about it. I could have been there for the whole day if I knew there will be a meet and greet session =((((((( wtf wtf!!!! And those who went get to buy their album for Rm33.50 and with autograph somemore. Who knows you might be lucky enough to take a picture with them or maybe hug them. Awwwwwh my Martin and Paul =(((( And worse come to worse, their album is not released until 8th September 2009. Argh!!!!! Hates Hates Hates Hates to the MAXXXXXXXXXXXXXX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, think on the bright side =))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) The very bright side =) I'm lucky enough to have won the MOSH PIT PASS. right right right???? I've never been to a concert before and the first one I'm attending is MTV World Stage, with mosh pit pass somemore! I should be thankful cause none of my friends were in mosh pit!!! (except Jon and Chee Mei of cause) And on top of that, I got to see so many of my favourite bands in one night! Tell me that is awesome =DDDD

MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia

Before I start anything with the concert. Let me tell you something tragic (or maybe not so tragic anymore) that happened that very morning. Hmm, maybe I should start from the night before. I don't know why, I got really emo, then I went to bed at 12.30am. I had maths exam the following morning. Before I sleep, I set my alarm to 5.45am so that I could wake up to study.

By the time I woke up, its already 8.20am. (My paper's at 8am btw) I received tonnes of miss calls and messages. And the best of all, my alarm was turned off and my phone is on silent mode. Gheeee, I didn't know what happened. All I know was that right when I saw it was already 8.20am, I bounced out of bed immediately, changed and ran all the way to the exam hall! I was wearing shorts and slippers cause I couldn't think of what to wear!! and and, I didn't even bother to brush my teeth, =p I didn't even bring my phone along cause I didn't know where was it!!

I wanted to hitchhike on the way, but then this guy was waiting for someone. Aiks! Then I flew all the way there. By the time I reached the exam hall it was already 8.33am. Thank god I was still able to sit for the paper. Really thank god. Terima kasih beribu-ribu-ribu-ribu!!! Otherwise, ahhhhhhhh, I don't even wanna imagine what will happen next.

As you all know, I always take full time to finish my paper. This time it only took me 1.5 hours to finish that maths paper. (Its a 3-hour paper!) Don't ask me how did it happened. HAHA! The truth is, I have no idea at all!

Thinking about this gives me nightmare. But then, I was not the latest one after all, Yang Peng was a few minutes later than me! Ahhhhh, don't wanna think of it already @.@

Okay, back to what I'm suppose to blog bout =) As mentioned, Jon, Chee Mei and I went to MTV World Stage. *weeeeeeeeee* Drove there from Nilai to pick Chee Mei up then lunch at Wendy's then we started queuing up! It was so freaking hot out there. And while queueing we heard people screaming, guess what? we saw BOYS LIKE GIRLS!!!! We were so busy checking them out we forgot to take pictures of them. Aiks!

Anyway, the gate was opened around 3.30pm and we registered and went in! We were like one of the first few to go in and the mosh pit was soooo empty then. We were like standing right in front of the stage =) The concert only started at 6pm. So we waited waited waited, it was so freaking hot there. It rained too! For a while. Thank god there's no more rain during the concert.

The problem with being at the mosh pit, people MOSH! It felt like there's an earthquake there. People banging, pushing us here and there. We started off standing at the 2nd row, then got pushed pushed pushed to the 10th row or so. haha. but that doesn't matter, its the same to me. I'm proud enough to be standing there already!

This is the band that I'm looking forward to see. Enjoyed the most when they played. But I had no more energy then. Was freaking thristy. Most songs I know of all the bands that played that night, of cause next was Boys Like Girls. =)

Kasabian

The last band who performed for the night. Heard of them, but not their songs. Actually I did not concentrate on their songs while they playing. So what was I doing? All the while, my eyes were pinned at the drummer. Kasabian has the coolest drummer I've ever seen. really AWESOME!!!! I wanna see him play again!

Despite those long waiting hours, 5 bucks drink, the rain, the sore of our feet, it was all worth it! We had so much fun! We got to see so many bands in a night and its totally free of charge. Though my day started off badly, I'm just really happy that I get to attend this concert with my friends!

When we left, we spotted this car. Not any normal Myvi. It's Estranged Myvi parked at the carpark! Of cause, we took picture with it. This is me, with part of the car. The rest is just plain orange. And you definitely know how a Myvi looks like don't you? =p

After that, we went to Asia cafe for supper. Had Sotong Kangkung and Rojak Taufu!

To make this day happen, I would first have to be glad that there's a holiday on 20th July so that I could go back home for the weekend and watch MTV and saw that there's this world stage thing and tell Jon about it and then thank Mr Eric Sow for postponing the E-Commerve presentation so that I got to go to Subang to meet Chee Mei and Li Shia and got to go to Cineleisure with Chee Mei and called Jon to attend the mosh pit audition and each of us got those passes and so happened the concert's on the last day of finals and thank you Jon for fetching Chee Mei and I and also driving me all the way back to Nilai that night. phew =)

Oh and besides that, I would also love to thank Chee Mei for telling me what songs will they be playing. You know, she can see the whole Surf Beach from her condo's balcony. So she practically heard them rehearsing and knows the songs that will be played. THANK YOU! Otherwise, we won't be that prepared for it!

And I've come to realise something, bands have really cool lead guitarist. There's Boys Like Girls' Paul, Hoobastank's Dan and The All-American Rejects' Nick! One thing I hate about this whole thing is that I missed the Boys Like Girls' autograph and meet and greet session at The Curve. Arghhhhhhh!

Definitely a day not to be forgotten =)

Feeeel the excitement!! The moment that I've been waiting for is finally here! MTV World Stage Live In Malaysia is tomorrow! We've been talking about it since we got those passes.

Got a message from Erlina saying that the bands already started their rehearsals and the stage is very nice and the drummers are very yeng =D Chee Mei told me the same thing too. She can actually see the entire Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach from her condo's balcony, which means she can see everything even though she can't make it to the concert!

She heard them rehearsing and she is very certain that Estranged is going to play Itu Kamu. Yea, gonna listen to the song over and over again. Guessing what song that will be played is like guessing what question that will be coming out in exams =p

It's definitely gonna be fun. But first, I have to sit for my Maths for Computing paper tomorrow. Then straight after that, I shall fly to Sunway Lagoon! HAHA. Nah, Jon's driving down to Inti today, so after tomorrow's paper, nyek nyek... we will make our way there. Pick Chee Mei up, go for lunch, then we will start lining up. The gate will be opened at 4pm, we have to be there early. But its not that important anyway, cause we got the best seat in the house! We're happy enough to be standing at the mosh pit, what more, its totally FOC!! XD

Chee Mei and Jon, please sleep early tonight =) It's gonna be a very tiring day tomorrow and don't forget to bring the letter. Ahhh, I still have to sit for maths paper at 8am! Wish me luck!

I'm now waiting for my rojak. Sooooooooooooo hungry. There's just some problem with the delivery I think. =p

Went out for dinner with Rahul just now. He's my classmate from Bombay, India! How cool is that. Bombay is like Hollywood in India. So basically he knows where all those Bollywood stars stay. It's very normal for him to see actors and actresses walking here and there doing their daily routine.

Whenever we talk, we definitely talk about food! Spicy Indian food! Of all his years here in Inti, he has never tried other food besides Indian food. Oh wait, he has only tried Nasi Lemak and Satay and that's it!

And so yesterday I had dinner with him at one of desa palma's shop. Tried Jal Frazy and Garlic Naan. Jal Frazy is actually Tandoori with curry. It was seriously the best curry I have ever had! It's thick and there are lots of Tandoori in it!! The fried rice tasted very good too, I like the burning smell in it!

That's certainly the place to go if you are craving for spicy Indian food. Shall go there next time but sad to say that the people there don't speak English, they only speak Hindi. Aiks! I might need Rahul's help if I were to eat there. Maybe get him to write everything down on a paper =p

How did this day happen?

- We were talking about getting free McD through DriveThru. Got the idea from Remi Gaillard's video and wanted to try it. So we planned for a day out.
- Jon's leaving for the UK in September (its still not confirmed anyway), so we decided to do everything that we both wanted to do and try before he steps out of the country.
- We just wanna have fun and do crazy stuffs!

When did it all started?
20th July 2009 (yeah! I know it was quite some time ago!)

The name?
Its a combination of Epic Day, Poo Poo Day and Giler Day. Poo Poo means Crap in our language because we crap A LOT! The word Fat was added in later because halfway through planning it we realised that the day's all about food and more food. Hence, Epic Fat Poo Poo Giler Day XD

Any preperation?
Of cause there is. Omg, this is gonna sound crazy. We prepared an itinerary, yes! just like what you get from tours =p and we even have our own playlist to be played in the car! There were alltogether 34 songs in the playlist =)

Theme song for the day?
Transylvania - McFly (this song was looped over again and again and again and again ....... )

When was it?
12th August 2009. Yea we are only free during the week of finals. So that's why its on finals week where everybody was busy studying!

Alright so the day started off with me taking the 9.30am bus to Inti Subang. Then Jon picked me up from there. That's when the epicness started - 10.30am. First stop, Subang Parade. Purpose of going there is to buy Pork & Beans and Kinder Joy at Cold Storage. Bought Kinder Joy but failed to find Pork & Beans. Then we head on to Jusco for the redemption of DKNY Be Delicious Limited Edition redemption. It was too early then, the workers were not even there so we did not get to redeem =(

Then we went for the next event (according to the itinerary). What's written on the itinerary was this: Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch (Random). Let's see how random we were. First stop for food, Bon Bon's cafe at Damansara Jaya.

Next stop was Ikano Power Center, for Pork & Beans at Cold Storage. And this time, we found it! So freaking happy when we found it!!! Very Very happy XD Then we walked round Cold Storage, especially the pasta section. Whew, pastas make me drool (:

Walked across to The Curve after that. Actually we only wanted to come to this shop, Me Love Candy. This shop is awesome I tell you. They sell lotsa candies here. Weird ones especially. We bought Wonka Nerds and 2 lollipops that are in Marshmellow form!

Walked back to Ikea again, this time for the curry puffs! How can one miss the curry puffs when he or she is at Ikea. Oh yea, we tried Ikea's new Bbq Chicken Siew Pau. Not bad too! But you can only buy it individually at the main restaurant upstairs.

We had a hard time stacking this up. HAHA. And no! This was not the reason why we bought Pork & Beans and candies. Its right at the end of this post =p See those candies? Marshmellow on stick! And that's actually a lollipop!

Next next, its time for some real food! We were a bit full that time after eating those curry puffs. But then, today's the day where food is cannot be missed. Went to Uncle Lim's for the famous Nasi Lemak Chicken Rendang and Cendol. We ordered only a plate and splited everything into halves. All because we wanted to save more tummy space for more food!

This is me. First time eating rice since.... er.... I forgot actually (: Its been so long I forgot. But I can tell you its more than a month, maybe way more than that! XD

Did you notice how random we were? First we had cake (that's desert), then curry puffs and Bbq chicken siew pau (side dish?) then nasi lemak chicken rendang (maincourse). HAHA. All totally backwards! random random random!!

After that, we headed off to 1 Utama for Cinnabon. Yes, just for that cause Jon has not eaten that before!

After we are done with Cinabbon, we headed to Bangsar Shopping Mall for Chili's. We knew that there's Chili's in 1U, but just for the fact that I've not been to Bangsar before and Jon has not been there for a long time, we went there. Just for Chili's, Chili's Mash Potatoes. Heard that it was awesome! I've not tried that before and that's why its in the itinerary!

Loaded Mash Potatoes & Mash Potatoes with Black Pepper Sauce (idk why its white but it tasted like black pepper though, and trust me, this is the better one =D )

We did one stupid thing at Chili's. You know, I eat cod liver oil every day. And I chew it! I know Jon doesn't like eating cod liver oil, neither does he like smelling it. So that's basically the reason why I brought cod liver oil for him and just for the fun, he had to chew it! XD Check out his expression throughout the whole cod-liver-oil-chewing process =p

It still tasted awful to him. I'm so sorry. But *APPLAUSE APPLAUSE* you did it!!!

It rained when we left Chili's. So we just drove around Bangsar. Freaking love those shops there. One day, I shall go Bangsar Village to shop =D We can't go on that day because its not about buying stuffs, its all about food!

After driving around and since its raining, guess what we planned to do. This one's not in the itinerary and its totally random. We went to Cosmo's World in Times Square! And the ticket cost RM32 per person, ouch! But who cares? Its Epic Fat Poo Poo Giler Day! A day for some awesome adventure =D

Roller Coaster ride (:

Seriously, Cosmo's World is way better than Genting. The rides are more thrilling and there's no need to queue! My first time going to a theme park with one person. And I kinda pity Jon, he was not feeling well and he basically went to toilet to puke after every ride. He said he felt better that way. Oh, I felt so bad. ahhhhhhhh. He just wanna have fun and not waste the money. aahhhh.

And and and, the highlight while we were there. We saw Bollywood actors & actresses filming for some tv shows! All the way from India! So many of them. And there were spotlights all over and cameras rolling. We managed to take a picture with the main actress. Although I have no idea who she is, I'm gonna ask Rahul (my friend from Bombay) about her. I hope she's someone famous!

The worst thing that could happen happened. While Jon was at the toilet err... puking, I sat down there watching them film. I saw her coughing very badly and went to toilet. When she came out from the toilet, she fainted. I actually saw her faint! Jon totally missed out the whole thing because he was busy puking in the toilet. I did not know what happened to her after that because we left cause Jon was not feeling that well either. But once again, Cosmo's World rocks better than Genting! We had so much fun there!

We went for dinner after that, All You Can Eat Durians at SS2. We pay only RM9 per person, and we can eat all we want! How cool is that. 2 of us ate 4 durians in an hour, which means 2 durians per person in an hour!!! (cause we spent an hour there) *weeeeeeeeeeeeee* I cannot ask for more. I was effin full eating 2 durians! FAT!!

Next after durians, Ampang Look Out Point. The place where we wanted to go long long time ago and that's why its in the itinerary (: It took us almost 2 hours to get there. That place was so hard to find. And the entrance to the mountain top only has a sign that says Kajang, not even an Ampang word. Who will know that there's the entrance? And thanks to the Shell station guy. He drew us a map and it totally helped us to get our way there.

By the time we reached there, its already 12 something. Kinda worth it, of all those driving arounds, we got to see the breath taking scenary of the whole ok Kuala Lumpur. We tool many pictures up there, not only pictures of scenary but also pictures of us! Tried the night mode of Jon's camera and the pictures all turned out to be blur! And best of all, those blur pictures were the best pictures ever! See my blog header, there's no single editing done to it. All I did was adding those elements onto it! WE TOTALLY ROCK BLUR PICTURES!!!

Was supposed to go for Satay but they were all closed. Went to Damansara Utama Uptown for it, closed. Then the next option was Dengkil highway, closed too! Aiks. No satay, thought I could try all kinds of satay like ayam, daging, kambing, arnab and even venison =(((

Never mind that, then then, we had pork & beans and candy at Dengkil Highway. OK, if you've been follwing my blog, I have a blog post about pork & beans. Pork & Beans is actually a song by Weezer. We found the lyrics of the song really funny that's why I did this:

"I'mma eat my candy with the pork & beans,
excuse my manners if I make a scene."

Let me tell you this, there's no pork in there! Not even an inch! They are all 450g of beans! That's very weird. Anyway, Jon was really full he only ate about 150g of beans. I didn't wanna be a beans murderer so I ate the remaining 300g of beans. It was 3am in the morning =p Breakfast?

KLIA dua belas jam

I just woke up from the bestest sleep ever! Let me tell you what happened. Get your popcorns ready =)

Jonathan and I started off studying HCI at block N common area in the afternoon, then I thought about food. Was so effin hungry man! Woke up quite late and did not eat anything =( Ok so halfway through studying, I was craving for McD and I was like, Let's go McD to study. BUT we do not have a car, that's the problem. Then I thought of one place - KLIA!

The next thing we know was that we were on our way to KLIA. We took the bus. Asked Len to come along but he didn't want to ): aih len lennn.

Anyway, we reached around 8.30pm. First stop - the Chocolate & Confectioneries shop! We spammed chocolate like crazy, just like little kids. We spent RM43 on chocolate alone. HAHA. We checked, and they are all imported!

Alright so we went Burger King for dinner. Wanted to go to McDonald's for supper but then since we had settled comfortably at Burger King, with our laptops all set up and all, we were lazy to go upstairs.

Let me introduce you this chocolate - TOFFIFEEEEE!!!!!! We bought it because of the name. So cute! The chocolates look like buttons to me, no not those buttons on garments, buttons you see on your computer screen, those that you can click on it! Yea that was the first thing that crossed my mind, those chocolates seems like they can be clicked =p lmao.

And after that, we studied, really studied. Actually we only started studying around 12am. lol. But of course, jokes, games, oh Minesweeper! in between. Minesweeper, I just learned how to play Minesweeper last week and its super duper fun and addictive. I knew about this game long time ago, I mean, who doesn't. It's in everyone's computer. But all I did last time was randomly clicked on those boxes and BOOM! But now, I finally know how to play and thought Jon too and now we're kinda addicted to it. HAHA. don't blame me =p

HCI!!!

At 3am, we went to buy coffee. Burger King coffeeeee! Let me tell you, that coffee was super ecstatic! I went super high later that morning. I just don't know why I couldn't stop laughing and talking crap. Even Jon felt so awake. That cup of Burger King coffee can't beat his 11 cups of Nescafe!

So happy eating Mint Chocolate!

The way we study? Keep telling stories, that's the way. So easy to remember and so effective too! But after that we kinda stop studying and start listening to songs. The subject, songs alone, took us bout 2 hours plus. Yea we talked bout songs for that long.

And we joked bout some random lyrics. There's this lyric from the song Four Leaf Clover by Billy Boy on Poison that goes:

"Sisters in the bathroom killing spiders"

I lol-ed hard listening to it. How random can the lyric go? Anyway, nice song! And there were more random lyrics, just that this was the most random one we talked about.

That's when the timing is perfect!

Talking bout random, I'm gonna tell you one random thing about KLIA. The cleaners took 1 hour plus to clean both male and female toilets. Ahhhhhh. I waited 1 hour to pee, all because I was lazy to walk to the other toilets =p I think if we were to walk around that night, we might spot many weird things. But we couldn't, laptops.

Oh and before we left, I did a really horrible thing. I murdered a chocolate by placing it beside my lappie. FYI, my lappie's really warm at the side and so happen I placed the chocolate there. I did that on purpose actually lol. I wanna see how it turned out. Bad Kathlynn!

Yes, I totally felt bad after that. Felt so bad for being a chocolate murderer =( And now, I shall have a simple ceremony to mourn the death of the chocolate.

And I just left the chocolate there on the table. I'm really sorry minty dark chocolate. Please forgive me =( I vowed I will not murder any chocolate in the future. I promise.

At 7am, we went Delifrance for breakfast. Bread for breakfast. No, freshly baked bread for breakfast. That would be more appropriate (:

Took the bus back around 8 something and that marks our 12-hour adventure in KLIA! Reached Inti at 9am, and we were like zombies walking back to our respective rooms. Once again, I knocked out the moment I stepped into my room, lol.

We spent a rough total of RM100, including bus fares and food and especially those chocolates! I shall conclude that studying in KLIA is expensive but at the same time, fun & effective! And best of all, we finished studying =)

I've been a vampire again for the pass whole week since I came back from Subang. I don't know why I'm so awake at night. But it's alright I did sleep in the morning. Kathlynn is no longer a morning person wohoooo!

So I was basically busy with my E-Commerce website. Bellybelly busy with it. I remembered that there was this one night that James asked us out for yum cha around 3am. Then we ended up talking bout ghost stories till 7am in the morning at my block's common room. So fun wey. Till the sun rises. and till the guard changes shift.

Even on presentation day, I slept at 6am. Thanks to Vincen's lappie, giving us so much problem. while compiling and printing. It's time to throw it away. When's the ritual ceremony? I'm definitely going! But if it wasn't for the laptop problem, I wouldn't have slept anyway =p I CAN'T SLEEP UNTIL ITS MORNING!! AMEN!!

So after presentation, we went for lunch at cafeteria. Oh and about this 123456789 (12:34:56 7/8/09) thing. We were aware of it while having lunch but didn't do anything about it cause we were busy eating. But after that Len and Vincen did call their gf respectively. So sweet! We talked and joked so much that lunch, fun people, that's why! Very very tired at the same time.

Later that night, we went MBO for movies. All 5 of us, Vincen, Wang Wei, Len, Jon and I. Watched Alien in the Attics. Very funny!! You've got to watch it!

After that, we went yum cha. Pictures below were taken while waiting for Jon and Wang Wei from the loo XD I was actually randomly snapping pictures and these people starting to pose. Only 3 pictures taken and these were the 3!

I knocked out the moment I stepped into my room. And that's how awesome my week was =)

What a weekend!

Went to Subang right after I finished my presentation for the kids website. Was suppose to meet Mei and her bf at KLCC because there was a pc fair. Then then, there was this riot, so they did not go. Was suppose to go there by KTM then LRT. Instead of that, I took taxi to Subang. Don't ask me how much. $ just flew sky high )': But then its kinda worth it, once in a while, don't visit them often either. and I didn't know how bad was the riot in KL, so KL Sentral was a no no.

Reached Sunway Pyramid around 5pm, met up with Mei and Shia. The first thing we did? Eat. Had dinner at TGIF. Awesome dinner. Next up was movie time! Shia's bf tagged along. Watched The Proposal. Very awesome movie. People in there practically clapped throughout the whole show. Highly recommended (:

That was Saturday. So Sunday I went to The Curve with Mei and her bf. Shia did not come along cause she needs to go to chuch that afternoon. Earlier that morning, I read one of Shia's magazine and came across this page that says that there's a Mosh Pit audition for MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia. I've actually seen this before but never thought of auditioning. I've already submitted 2 entries online (That's for normal red zone tickets, not mosh pit tickets) before that.

But.... since I'm going to The Curve so I might as well drop by Cineleisure to check out the audition. The first person I saw when I get there? MTV VJ DENISE! (she wants to be callled that way) I never thought I would have a chance to see her in person. I always see her talk non-stop on MTV. =D

This was the Mosh Pit Audition

It's basically jumping around in front of the stage. Then there will be a few Fly FM people walking around to see if you qualify for the mosh pit. If you qualify, they will stick a sticker on you, and you have to go backstage to register and voila! You get the mosh pit tickets. We were kinda late for it but THANK GOD! There's another audition at 5pm.

The next thing that crossed my mind was to text Jonathan. We actually talked bout this MTV thingy long time ago and we wanna go really badly. And lucky for him he was somewhere nearby.

So Mei and I met up with Jon after that and went for the audition. The most spontaneous audition ever! All we did was jump jump jump and more jumping to One Buck Short's songs. Yea they were performing for the audition. And lucky us, each of us won ourselves MOSH PIT TICKETS!! 3 of us certainly rock the mosh pit.

MTV World Stage Live In Malaysia will be the first ever concert I'm attending with the best view ever and its totally FOC!! And I'm going with my great people and best of all, its on my last day of finals =DD

and you know that night? People started to sell mosh pit tickets on Lowyat. Highest bid was around RM250. I felt so lucky (:

That night, both Mei and I were really tired. Those jumping and all totally drained us out. lol. We're such princesses. Or maybe its just me =p

I had a really wonderful weekend with them. Went back at 6pm. Had Jon's mum to come pick me up from Pyramid to Inti Subang to take the Inti bus home. Thanks for the ride! We couldn't make it for the 6.30pm bus due to the jam and we took the 7pm bus back instead. Reached Inti around 8pm and was freaking tired. The day did not end there, met up with Vincen and Yu Chuen to start of with E-Commerce website.

p/s: I was practically a very bright light bulb for that 3 days. HAHA. Their bfs just can't leave them alone. Therefore, we made an agreement that NO BOYFRIENDS ARE ALLOWED during the next outing =)

I've been sleeping during the day and doing project during the night for the whole week. The project's actually to design a website for kids.

We started the website last Sunday at 1pm. Ended at 2.30am, almost 3am.
Then I woke up at 1.15pm the next day (I broke my record again! XD), I don't remember we did till what time but I know I slept at 4am that day.
Woke up at 12pm, laze around in room till 4pm for class. Did not touch the website cause we had lab test the next day.
So Wednesday, test at 12pm. then started working on the website again at 9pm. This was awesome, I slept at 8am =p
Thursday came, woke up at 3.30pm (best record so far =)), started work at 4pm. Had dinner with Jon's group and then celebrated Chili's birthday at 12am. Will blog about that later. This day was AWESOMER!! We did not sleep till next day's presentation at 8am. The same goes to the rest of the groups =D

It's not like we were last minute or something. We just took it slow and easy. designing website is somehow a fun thing to do! So on the day before presentation we just didn't sleep cause our whole biological clock has gone haywire.

After presentation, we went dim sum for brunch. Everybody was so sleepy but we need food to survive! Yu Chuen ordered so much but we managed to pull it off.

So after lunch, I went back, slept till 8.30pm. I'm so proud of myself! Had dinner with Vincen and Wang Wei. Then after that Yu Chuen joined us for MyBox, supper till 3.30am and I slept at 4am!

I know I have not been Kathlynn for the whole week but I had lotsa fun! Indeed!
There's another E-Commerce website due next Friday, ahhhhhh. But this time I'm definitely not gonna use Adobe Dreamweaver. Frontpage, here I come!

But before that, I'm escaping to Subang for the weekend (: I seriously need some rest!! *weeeeeeeee*

College Day & Installation Night

Yesterday was College Day & also the Installation Night. So happen, my dear high school back in Ipoh was having Canteen Day on the same day as well.

One thing I hate the most about College Day was that the stalls were right in front of my block. Urghhh, they had mic test at 7am! Yea, that woke me up. The event only starts at 8.30am and mic test at 7am? Crazy!! Worse still, they started blasting music and the emcee started talking around 9am. Gheeeeeee, I would have been sleeping soundly dreaming of Ted & Barney XD!

I tried to sleep but gave up at 11am. Felt like going down to take a look since it woke me up so early. Len and Yo actually wanted to go, but they were still sleeping. They were like, we can definitely wake up!~! But in the end did not cause they slept at 6am. So I pm-ed Fanny who stays few doors away.

So we went down and apparently there was not much food left. So we just walked around. Nothing much to see though. There were games at the basketball courts and performances in MPH.

how do you feel when you can see something, close enough for you to reach with your hand, but can't touch it at all?

what happens when you lose something and you know you are going to lose it forever? or perhaps, you're never gonna see it again?
sometimes i wish i could see myself 10 years from now, so that i do not have to worry much now. this sucks!

Just came back after a 4 hours bus journey, it was so tiring. Yes, I went home for the weekend. Have been eating and eating and eating non-stop. Let me summarize them for you.

Friday
Dinner: Burger King with Yu Chuen (Tradition)
when I reached home: fried chicken
3am: fried chicken

Saturday
Breakfast: fried chicken
Lunch: 1.5 durians
Dinner: Korean bbq (buffet style somemore)

Sunday
Breakfast: dim sum
Lunch: lotsa lotsa seafood (went to Sitiawan)
Dinner: McDonald's
Later that night: 1.5 durians

Monday
Brunch: fried kuey teow with drumstick

and lotsa lotsa lotsa lotsa junkfood in between! *weeeeeeeee so happy I got to go back to Ipoh to eat ((:

Before I head back, I dropped by Betty Boop, AGAIN! Bought this, this bag was love at first sight, fell in love with it since the last time I went there with Voonie. And I finally get to buy it this time. So many nice things there, I wanna own the whole Betty Boop collection!

Just came back from a wonderful day. No class on Thursday. Spent the whole day in block N with classmates doing Java assignment. It was fun! Chili was the teacher of the day. Thank You!!!! suppose to start at 10am. but everyone came an hour late at 11am. some even overslept. HAHA.

McD delivery for lunch. And java java java all the way till dinner time. Dinner, lol, we took turns to go for dinner. Cause we can't just leave our lappies there at block N.

Doing Java assignment reminds me of doing C++ assignment last year. We basically camped out at Chili's place. what memories ((:

Chili is definitely the GOD of programming. I worship you. lmao.

So yea we started at 11am and Java-ed all the way till 2am. WOW. But but but, the day did not end there. Len, Juice, Jon, Ling Sim and I went to play some basketball after that. lol. Ling Sim and I did not play long. And we ended up lying in the middle of the basketball court. Sad to say that there were no stars that night ))=

BSECU Genting trip

1. I'm the organizing chairperson of this trip.
2. I had an awesome weekend with my classmates.
3. My first time not sleeping for the whole night.
4. I'm glad everyone had fun.

Almost the whole class went, all 14 of us. Felix, aiks, sad to say that he chose Dragonica over the trip. HAHA. Everything went extremely well that day. Genting was really cold that weekend. The coldest I've ever felt in Malaysia. I regret that I brought my red jacket instead of my windbreaker. All of us were soaking wet.

Let me talk about our room. The only room available was Deluxe Room. so alright we went for that. On that day itself when we checked in, there's no difference compared to the normal room. So Chili and I went down to the counter to ask, guess what the lady told me. Deluxe Room is actually same as the normal room, just that the bathroom is a lil bigger. What turf! HAHA. who needs a big bathroom? it's only a tiny bit bigger only. so yea 14 of us cramped into the small room (:

Watched Transformers 2 again. 1am (: Half of us were asleep throughout the movie. HAHA. we were so tired. But I was awake. How can I sleep watching Transformers. lol. after the movie, we crazy people went outside.

The we spent the night in First World. The place was so dead. Time passed so slowly. We waited till sunrise, then we went for breakfast. My first time not sleeping. I did, actually, a while. I spent 20 minutes sleeping at the stairs. lol

Spent the whole afternoon with my group mates and Jon's group at block k. It was a wonder we completed the whole thing in just one day. Yu Chuen even brought his printer into the common room lol.

I was dying to try the Flaming Lamborghini and Jon was kind enough to order it. Thank you! He basically drank them all while I only managed to drink one mouthful. HAHA. All because I was really scared of the flame lol.

And yea, I ordered some drink called Orgasm and I said something really wrong that night and it has now become an inside joke in class. Oh blush, how embarassing.

It was already 3.30am when I came back. Was really tired. Bath and went to bed right away. And that's it. The end.

Catch and Spell

For the pass few days, I've been really busy working on my storyboard. I was so into the storyboard I ignored every conversation on MSN. lol. It was kinda addictive. It's been so many years since I last drew and coloured and I finally get the chance to do it here in University, how cool is that. HAHA.

It's actually my assignment. I had to design a storyboard for pre-schoolers. So I created a spelling website named Catch and Spell. Kinda simple, I know. But there were a lot of work to do. While doing this storyboard, my room was like an arts and crafts center XD

My spontaneous weekend

This is sort of a continuation of the previous post. (: So normally on Friday, I have class till 6pm. Kinda hate it though if I'm going home, but then the lecturer is kind enough to release us at 5pm lol. My bus was at 8.30pm at KLIA and I was expected to reach home at 12am. So after maths class, Yu Chuen and I was like, should we skip the 4pm class and take the earlier bus home at 6.30pm? And the final decision was yes! So I called to change our bus ticket to 6.30pm weeeeeee.

Off we went, we arrived at KLIA at 5.30pm. We were so afraid of H1N1 we stayed outside the building for the whole hour lol. We even had dinner in Inti instead of our Burger King. Then we saw a few buses of caucasian. Yesh babeh! Hot guys =DD had no idea where they are from anyway.

So on the bus, we decided to take the last row. HAHA. we will normally go for the 2nd or 3rd row from the back, but not this time. Why?? because it's really high. super duper HIGH. Take a look at the picture below.

Remember the caucasian people I was mentioning earlier? I saw them again. To my surprise, the whole bus were waving at us. HAHA. yes, hot guys waving at us. and as for Yu Chuen, hot chicks (: Here's one thing, one of the guys gave me a peace sign, of course, I gave him another peace sign. and he was so happy he told every of his friends. LOL

How I wish I get to know them.

Guess that was their first visit to Malaysia.

The saddest thing that happened that night was the bus brokedown. Thank god it did not breakdown at the roadside. The driver was kind enough to stop us at the Tanjung Malim kawasan rehat. Apparently there was a leak at the engine. And the engine was behind the bus. whoah. glad that it did not explode or something cause we were sitting at the last row. CHOY CHOY CHOY!!!

I was so bored I used Yu Chuen's phone to call Len. He laughed all the way, nonstop when I told him what happened. Yea he should laugh. We skipped class to go home earlier and it made no difference in the end. HAHA. Shame on us. We should have attended class, but it was only a tutorial.

We were stranded for 1.5 hours till the other bus came. It was already 10.30pm. Anyway, glad that there was a bus to pick us up. And that bus was stupid! Now I know why Yoyo is so expensive compared to other buses. No, not because it picks us up from KLIA. Yoyo is a very stable bus. Even if I sit at the last row, I could not even feel a bump.

Well, this bus, was 5x worse than my car at home. Come to think of it, taking Yoyo home is very worth it. I sat at the last row again this time. Surprisingly, the last row was also as high. HAHA. I could see everything in front!

SATURDAY

Went out with Voonie early in the morning. As planned, she drove me to Pantai Hospital to get my vaccination. Upon entering the hospital, we had to get our body temperature checked. For some prevention of the H1N1 I assume. and my body temperature was 36°C. wasn't that a bit too low? I thought. HAHA. So as long as I'm not having fever, I'm fine (:

Then we headed off to Leopard.

And that was where I started my spending spree. AGAIN.

I didn't know that 21 Guns is a Transformers soundtrack. I was so shocked to hear the song playing throughout the whole movie. It was played several times more than New Divide. God, that is my favourite song from Green Day's latest album! Get that album people, highly recomended ((:

Went to 1U and Ikano area before heading back to Inti. Had a great time there. And I finally bought my favourite Ikea's currypuffs =DDD

My spontaneous week

This week was truly amazing!

SUNDAY

I pretty much did nothing for the whole day. I don't know why, no mood I guess. So at night I decided to call my group mates out to discuss the project proposal for CS135. We've got a pre-schooler website to create XD Halfway through the discussion, Hao Cheng came, asking me for help for his Anna Sui website. Apparently that night, both of us did not have Ms Frontpage. So we couldn't do anything that night. Postponed to the next day.

MONDAY

Suppose to have HTML class from 2-4pm, but Mr Siva did not turn up. Guess what my classmates did? They turned the whole lab into a cyber cafe. lol. Everyone started playing dota. Guys are guys. Free cyber cafe, who wouldn't play? LOL. Ling Sim and I had nothing to do, so we booked out room for Genting trip. It was our first time booking something online and surprisingly it went really well =D

That evening, Santi asked me whether I've started applying for universities. I told her yes and she suggested that I should try applying for UNSW. It's better in IT than UQ. She's in U. Adelaide now and she says Adelaide is pretty good in IT area. *Santi is doing the same course as I am* She told me something that evening that totally sent a ding dong to my head.

"neway remember apply for more uni, do more research which uni is better in IT then only decide again.. dont just decide on UQ just because its ranking is good :) I am telling you this because I apply for UQ due to its ranking too and I regretted for not applying more uni .."

And now I'm in dilemma again. UQ's software engineering is under engineering faculty, which means its gonna be VERY TOUGH =\ Jon told me the other day that he will be taking UK sandwich program. Urgh, why isn't there an Australian sandwich? If I were to go to UK, I will be leaving this September, which is two months later ):

That night I got a call from club asking me to decorate the board for the recruitment of 14th Intima Stact Committee. Yea and so I went, cause its my job as a publicity to do it. While doing, I suddenly remembered I promised to help Hao Cheng in his website that night. So I basically rushed for the board and met him up in dining hall. Ms Frontpage is easy to use, and he's a fast learner too. We managed to finish everything in about 1 hour. All I could say that that Anna Sui website was awesome! He knows he owes me. HAHA.

TUESDAY

Tuesday was pretty normal. We had dinner right after class at 6pm. I didn't want to stay in the room for the night so I called my classmates out to study for Wednesday's maths test in AO common room. That was also the night where Jon passed me 220GB of goodies! HAHA. It's my first time receiving so many albums, movies and tv shows cause I'm soooo lazy to download them. Thank you! But there's a problem, I have no place to store them lol. Anyway, I will think of a way (:

WEDNESDAY

Maths test day and guess what? I forgot to bring my calculator, pandai. Told you I went to study in AO common room right? Yea, and the calculator was in another bag, I forgot to put it in my study bag. Argh. While doing question one, I remembered I saw Eng Fei returning from class, meaning he has no class that time. I sms-ed him asking him to bring me a calculator, I was so afraid that I will be caught cheating during test. Anyway, I still text him, I need a calculator! But so sad to say that he was at a carwash ): I thought, there goes my A for maths ):

Then while I was halfway doing my test, my lecturer brought me a calculator. She said, here comes your life saver. HAHA. I looked out the window immediately and I saw Eng Fei. OMG. He actually brought me the calculator right after his carwash. Thank you belly belly much!!!! Thanks for the trouble =DD I owe you big time!

That night, Orientation Night May 2009, was a great event. But sad to say that the result is a wee bit disappointing. Anyway, I'm glad to see that 4 out 6 of the contestants are from Ipoh. haha, if you know what I mean =p

Had a great time talking with mum today about my universities application, and we've come to a decision (:

I always hate Thursday nights. I normally do not what to do that night, what more classes start at 2pm the next day. So I've decided to pack my stuffs, to be more specific, clear my wardrobe.

These are my tops, I repeat, tops alone for classes.

All my bajus, the tops alone (above) occupy the empty section.

Seriously, I had a really hard time packing, I did not know what clothes to bring home. Help me. I've got to clear them all because I'm expecting a new roommate next semester. Let me explain, there are 3 wardrobes in my room. My roommate and I are suppose to share 1.5 of the wardrobes. Seeing that I have so many clothes, she decided to only take 1 and give me 2(: Now that she's going for the internship next semester, I have to start clearing already.

I've also started clearing up my room. Bringing half of my room home. Ahhhh, I regreted bringing so many stuffs here. But my room certainly felt like home for the past 1.5 years (:

I was really tired after cleaning up and planned to brush my teeth already, until I saw this on the internet.

Heels people heels!!!!!

It was love at first sight. I love the heart shape! Oh goodness, just what I wanted for Intiball. But it takes a month for it to be delivered ): I immediately told Ling Sim and Jon about it. Ling Sim was emo about her height ): cheer up kay? We wanted to be as tall as you, you know? Jon, on the other hand was like, you want it? come I help you order, I can get it for you if you want. HAHA. Boey wanted to buy, but in the end decided not to. How come??!!

And yea, I ordered =DD Sent in my order on that night itself, without even telling my mum about it =p I don't care, I was all head over heels about that pair of heels! And the price of the heels did not even matter to me ((:

Anyway, the seller is actually my (Ipoh) neighbour's girlfriend. So its quite easy for me to pay her. Will be paying him tomorrow so that he can pass it to her. HAHA. how convenient. And Jon will meet up with her in 1 Utama to get the heels for me when it arrives (: Thanks for the trouble.

And here's a little something, after showing Jon the picture of the heels, he went crazy searching for girls stuffs, handbags, dresses, earrings, I didn't have a clue why. HAHA. And he kept showing me websites of pretty clothes. Omg, I don't usually shop online, perhaps this is the starting of it? lol. And yea, I love products from Taiwan (((:

FRIDAY

That's today. I'm going home today! Finally! HAHA. Mum just called, saying that the Korean Bbq plan is postponed and is replaced with Transformers! Yes and daddy's watching with us too! Daddy doesn't notmally go for a movie with us but this time is a yes yes yes (: Yay, it will be a family movie.

Going out with Voon tomorrow first thing in the morning. She will be bringing me to Pantai Hospital to get my second jab, and then shopping. HAHA. I love shopping in Ipoh, lol.

All in all, I'm really excited that I'm going home. There's an assignment due next Thursday and I've not done a single bit. lol. Shall not care about that now. Home here I come!

I just read one of my friend's blog saying that her friend has passed away due to a car accident. There were 3 person in the car. 2 survived and 1 didn't make it. It was really sudden, really. He just celebrated his 19th birthday on 13th June. And it was really sad to hear that though I don't even know him. Really sad. She is now in the UK and is not able to attend his funeral. I know it's hard, especially when such thing happens to our loved ones.

I read her blog and few of her friend's blog which are full of memories with him. It was really sad, indeed. I don't think I will be able to handle it if such thing happens to me. And I do not wish it will happen to me and any of my friends either. *prays hard* Appreciate them now, you will never know what will happen tomorrow.

I hereby offer my condolences.

My violin happens to be my bestest companion of all time. It accompanies me through ups and downs of my life.

I started playing the violin when I was 9 years old.

I not only listen to music, I play my own music.

Playing the violin is the best way to release anger and stress.

The sound of a well played violin is the sound of emotions, from the length of sadness to the shortness of expectations. Sometimes, it's low pitch, whispering like the wind and warm like a blanket and then it gets higher and higher until the pitch is so high, it's borderline painful, but just before you reach the pain...it stops and get silenced...and then whispers again.

I am glad I took up violin lessons.

This was the worst competition I've participated, sorry to say that, but yea. Ok I never wanted to be a model, I actually joined this competition for the photoshoot and to build the confidence in me, with no intention of moving into the next round.

Let's start from the very beginning, the day when I was called from the bridge to participate in the competition. Dear committees and crews, I'm really disappointed with you guys. While all of you were recruiting participants for the 2 weeks, you talked to us as though we were angels or princesses, saying the best things we've ever heard, persuading us to participate in the competition. The guy who asked me to join treated me really well that day. He kept shaking my hand, introducing himself to me and even said he looks forward to seeing us.

Well, on the night of the photoshoot, we look like devils to you. The way you talk to us was completely different. I don't want to elaborate more on that. Thank you for putting on your masks for the pass 2 weeks, you guys did a really good job, perhaps you guys should try auditioning for a play.

Ok so the next day was the 1st audition. Actually I didn't want to go for this audition but since I wanted to get my photos from the photoshoot the night before so I went. It's stated that the audition starts at 8am, we decided not to go so early and went an hour late at 9am. Guess what, when we arrived, we were only told that the audition starts at 12pm. WHAT IS THIS??!! They were like telling us the night before, if you come early you can go back early, so you better come as early as possible. Yea, so we came at 9am and the audition only starts at 12pm. Thank you!

And there's another thing, we were also told to wear hot pants and tshirt. Simple, because they need to get our body measurements. So when the judges arrived, they were like, why are you dressing like this? You come to an audition, you should dress up nicely, with a scarf or something. And why aren't you all with makeup? What turf, they told us to wear hot pants and tshirts in the first place. So eventually we went back to change after stoning there for 3 hours. I felt like giving up then, I should have, cause I didn't want to go for the audition in the first place.

The audition was another disappointment. By then, I had no mood for it already. I heard that the judges require us to either sing or dance. What turf. And it certainly slows down the whole audition process. There's also this lady from some company who came up complaining why do the judges require the participants to sing or dance. This is not a talent show, modelling has nothing to do with singing or dancing. I totally agree with you lady, truly deeply agree with you.

While I was waiting outside waiting for the audition, one of the judges came out and say, If you can dance or sing, show us that you can. And he started pointing at the indian girl sitting there. You are an indian, don't tell me you can't dance. And the indian girl was like, WHAT IS THAT??!! If I were her, I would definitely give the same response, perhaps even worse than that.

So when it comes to my turn, I had no mood already. I just went in like that. I can see that they have no interest in me. HAHA. Of course, I was not even performing, I just wanted it to end, badly. The judges disappointed me. I mean, they should give words or encouragement to participants who are not good enough. I know I don't have the looks or body, but still, you shouldn't treat me like an animal.

"Ok, you can just catwalk and leave the room."

What turf! This was what I get when the audition ended. For God's sake. Can you be more polite? You can just say, thank you for auditioning, we hope to see you in the next round or you are good but there's still some room for improvement or something like that. I would feel much better. There's not even a word of thank you from them.

Well, welcome to the real world Kathlynn. Nothing comes easy.

I thought I could be more confident after this but ended up losing confidence in myself. I should have taken the photo and left. Why do I always regret what I've done? I hate myself. It totally ruined my weekend.

Went to watch this with Vincent and Tsi Ying and it was awesome! The musicians are from MPO (Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra), none that I know of. I remembered going for an MPO event back in 2004, the conductor was Kevin Field and it was as wonderful as this (:

Another great night, one week after the classics. Did not regret attending at all. Beau Bristow is an indie artist from Nashville, Tennessee (USA). He's currently on tour in Malaysia playing in different colleges for 5 weeks. Thank you for dropping by.

What I like about him is that he uses the technique of looping in his songs, which allows him to produce the music of an entire band with only one guitar. Yes, drums and bass as well, with just a guitar. How cool is that?

Fingers crossed that I can see him play the guitar again (:

Life has been like shit. Lots of shits happen for the whole month of May right from 1st May to 31st May. Those shits got worse and worse week after week. No offense to those whose birthdays are in May. You know what I mean.

First it was this, and that, and friends, and family, and studies, and this again, and that, friends, family, and studies, and this and that. AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The whole month of May is awful. I may be achieving everything I want academically, but my life is pretty much fucked up. Where did I go wrong?

Sometimes when I say "oh I'm fine", I want someone to look me in the eyes and say "tell the truth."

Anyway, what's done is done, it's over. I'm sorry I can't be there at the very last second, though I can see that coming. May you rest in peace, there's no more suffering for you anymore. We always love you.

If you think your life sucks, think about others as well. It is true that everybody is living behind a mask. Everybody has got their own issues, it depends on how well you handle it. The better you manage it the better your life may be. Always think positively, think on the bright side.

Expiry Date

This statement was discussed between Lance and I a while ago and I would like to share it with all of you.

"Friends do expire. For once you were really close, the next moment you never hang out with them at all."

I couldn't agree more on that. It's so freaking true. I lost contact with quite a lot of friends back in primary and high school, which I think is a sad thing.

Joanne - a really close friend since lower secondary, did not talk in upper secondary although we were in the same class and same club. She and I both play the same musical instruments except for the piano.

Jin Ee - a really close friend in primary 3. She advanced to primary 5 due to her PTS. Never talk to her since then. But we still smiled when we see each other. I remembered going to her piano classes and going to her brother's birthday even though I did not know him. I used to be really close with her sister as well and always walked her out after school. Now, no more. I don't even have her contact.

Li Xin - besties since primary 1. She advanced to primary 5 as well. Lost contact after that. See her ocassionally during high school. Just smiled and that's it. We used to be really close, how did it end up like that?

Pei Han - sigh. I don't even know what is wrong with us. We have been friends and not being friends and be friends again and again and again. Our mums know each other so well, didn't know daughters can end up hating each other so much.

Shi Qi - besties in primary school. She trasfered to Poi Lam Independent High School during secondary. Never talked after that though I have her MSN. That's really sad, she's in UK now.

3P10 classmates - we were all close friends from Form 1 till Form 3. We went to seperate classes in Form 4 due to the subjects we're taking. We started having new friends from respective classes but no more hanging out as a class. But we are still friends now, just not that close.

And so many others which are not stated above. I just don't feel like writing anymore.

Is it just me or what?
In INTI, I hang out with different gangs of people every semester, if you notice that. I don't know why.

I think friends really do expire. Don't you think so? I know, to some friends, I've already expired, they never call me out anymore. Well, I should be happy, at least they are having fun without me. I can see that people are starting to make new friends and tend to forget about their old friends. The world is just too selfish.

To those friends whom I do not talk to (or vice versa) anymore, you will still be remembered dearly in my heart.
To those friends who still keep in touch with me until this very second, I appreciate it loads and hope our friendship can last forever.

Sometimes it's really hard to start a conversation with friends, and thus creating a greater distance among us. But deep inside they will still be my friend, always will.

So dear friends, I would like to know when's my expiry date to you? So that I can spend quality time with you before I expire.

I would also like to hear some stories from all of you, that's if you are facing the same situation as I do. Post it in your blog and send a notification to me.
